Kia's EV5 WKNDR concept, unveiled at Guangzhou, features off-road upgrades and camping gear, with a production version expected soon.
Kia has unveiled the EV5 WKNDR concept at the Guangzhou motor show, highlighting its off-road ambitions with rugged upgrades like reinforced bumpers, 20-inch mud-terrain tires, a suspension lift, and retractable recovery points.
The interior features yellow accents, eco-friendly materials, removable rear seats for a flat cargo area, and camping-ready amenities including a tailgate camp table, built-in radio, binoculars, and a one-touch trip planner.
Based on the GT-Line AWD trim, the production version is expected to use a dual-motor setup with 230kW power and an 88kWh LFP battery, though no release date has been confirmed.
This marks the first WKNDR concept to enter production.
