The 2026 GWM Cannon, unveiled in China, features a hardcore off-road package with enhanced ground clearance (228mm), 500mm water wading capability, T-Max winch, steel bumpers, nitrogen shocks, and nine driving modes including rock-crawling. It retains its 135kW/480Nm turbo-diesel engine and nine-speed automatic. GWM Australia is considering the package for the ANZ market and evaluating a single-cab version with a twin-turbo V6, though challenges around demand, pricing, and emissions standards remain.
