Foo Fighters top Billboard’s Rock & Alternative Airplay chart with "Asking For A Friend," their first No. 1 since drummer Ilan Rubin joined.
Foo Fighters have earned their 13th No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock & Alternative Airplay chart with “Asking For A Friend,” their second of 2025, following Sublime’s “Ensenada” after a 10-week run. The song gained 5.7 million audience impressions, a 6% increase, and reached No. 2 on Mainstream Rock Airplay, No. 5 on Alternative Airplay, and No. 8 on Hot Hard Rock Songs, driven by strong radio play and 494,000 U.S. streams. This marks the band’s first No. 1 with new drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined in July after Josh Freese’s departure.
