Apex re-analyzes old Nebraska drill cores using modern methods to assess rare earth and niobium potential, with results due early 2026.
Apex Critical Metals Corp. has launched a 2025 re-analysis of historical drill core from the Rift Rare Earth Project in Nebraska, using samples from Molycorp’s 1970s and 1980s drilling.
Working with Dahrouge Geological Consulting and Actlabs, the company is applying modern techniques like Fusion ICP-MS and XRF to re-log drillholes and assess rare earth element and niobium mineralization.
Results are expected in early 2026.
The initiative aims to update geological models and support future exploration, though historical results are not compliant with current NI 43-101 standards and are not considered current resources.
The work is part of Apex’s broader effort to advance critical mineral projects in North America, including its Cap Project in British Columbia, where recent drilling confirmed significant niobium.
Apex vuelve a analizar los viejos núcleos de perforación de Nebraska utilizando métodos modernos para evaluar el potencial de tierras raras y niobio, con resultados previstos a principios de 2026.
