A 19-year-old woman was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Limerick, Ireland, after being struck by a truck at a pedestrian crossing on Corbally Road.
She sustained head trauma and was initially taken to University Hospital Limerick before being transferred to Cork University Hospital’s trauma center.
The road was closed for forensic investigation, and Gardaí are seeking witnesses and video footage from between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on November 22.
The truck driver was treated at the scene for shock.
No other injuries were reported.
