IndiGo's parent company joins India's BSE Sensex on Dec. 22, replacing Tata Motors.
InterGlobe Aviation, parent company of India’s largest airline IndiGo, will join the BSE Sensex index on December 22, 2025, replacing Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd, which will be removed as part of the exchange’s routine index reconstitution.
The change takes effect at the market open on Monday, December 22.
Other adjustments include IDFC First Bank replacing Adani Green Energy in the BSE 100, Max Healthcare Institute joining the Sensex 50, and IndusInd Bank being removed from both the Sensex 50 and Sensex Next 50.
These updates aim to maintain the indices’ representativeness.
