Christmas at Kew has been ranked third among the UK’s top 19 light trails for 2025 by The Times. Running from November 14 to January 4, 2026, the event features a two-mile illuminated walk through London’s Royal Botanic Gardens with eight new installations, including the debut Christmas Orchestra and In Bloom by Dutch artist Wilhelmusvlug. Highlights include the Great Pagoda’s first post-restoration lighting, the Mycelium Network, and a dancing-floor with giant headphones. The trail begins at the Palm House, passes the lily-lit Palm House Pond, and ends with a festive finale at the Temperate House. Tickets start at £27.50 for adults, £18 for children, with free entry for carers; reservations are required between 4:20pm and 10pm.
