Calgary’s annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign collects food and cash donations via decorated buses to fight year-round hunger, with community-wide support.
The Calgary Food Bank has launched its annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign, using decorated transit buses as donation points across the city to combat year-round food insecurity.
Supported by Calgary Co-op since November 12, the initiative collects food and cash donations, with growing staff volunteer participation and strong public support.
Mayor Jeromy Farkas highlighted the campaign’s role in uniting the community and announced the start of the 37th annual Mayor’s Food Drive, where councillors compete to raise funds and food, following last year’s $307,478 total.
The food bank continues to accept donations and volunteers beyond the holiday season.
