Saskatchewan launches 3-year tax credit program to boost small manufacturers.
Saskatchewan launched a three-year pilot program on November 21, 2025, offering a 45% non-refundable investment tax credit to support small and medium-sized manufacturers in the food and beverage and machinery/transportation equipment sectors.
The SME Investment Tax Credit allows investors to claim up to $225,000 annually and enables eligible businesses to raise up to $4 million.
Applications are open through Saskatchewan.ca for investments made between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2028, with credits claimable over seven years.
The program aims to boost capital access, spur expansion, and create jobs.
