Ten months after the Palisades Fire destroyed nearly 7,000 structures, the first rebuilt home in Pacific Palisades has received a certificate of occupancy, marking a key milestone in recovery efforts.
Located at 915 N. Kagawa St., the two-story residence was approved by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety and is part of a larger rebuilding initiative with over 340 projects underway and more than 1,000 permits issued.
Mayor Karen Bass highlighted the home as a symbol of resilience, while developers plan to build 100 more homes in 2026.
A public opening is set for December 6.
