President Murmu launched a nine-day cultural festival in Secunderabad, Nov 22–30, 2025, showcasing Western India’s heritage.
President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the second Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav in Secunderabad on November 22, 2025, launching a nine-day festival celebrating the cultural heritage of Western India, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, and the union territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Organized with the Ministries of Culture, Textiles, and Tourism, the event features folk performances, handicrafts, cuisine, and literature to promote national unity and cultural preservation.
It follows the first edition focused on Northeast India and aims to engage youth with India’s diverse traditions.
The festival runs daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through November 30 and was attended by senior officials, including union ministers and state governors.
