Air India and Air Canada resume codeshare partnership Dec. 2, 2025, linking six Canadian cities with Indian destinations.
Air India and Air Canada have reinstated their codeshare partnership, effective December 2, 2025, restoring access to six Canadian cities—Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal, Halifax, and Vancouver—for Air India passengers via Air Canada flights, while enabling Air Canada travelers to connect to Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, and Kochi.
The agreement, pending regulatory approval, allows single-ticket bookings, unified baggage allowances, and shared loyalty benefits, including miles earning and lounge access for Star Alliance Gold members.
The partnership marks Air India’s only current codeshare with a North American airline and aims to enhance travel for the over two million people annually between the two countries.
