The UAE has launched the UAE Global Centre of Trade programme to attract 1,000 international trading companies, boost non-oil trade, and strengthen its global commerce role.
Announced by Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative includes a digital export portal, AI-driven market analysis, training programmes, and trade events.
It supports the UAE’s strong trade growth, with non-oil trade reaching AED2.67 trillion in the first nine months of 2025, including AED579.4 billion in exports and AED597.7 billion in re-exports.
The programme is being implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Trade with support from federal and local entities.
