North Dakota will host free farm safety training Dec. 2–4 for emergency responders and farmers to reduce injuries and property loss.
North Dakota State University Extension and the National Farm Medicine Center will host the RF-DASH train-the-trainer program on December 2 in Killdeer and December 4 near Penn, offering free in-person training to help rural emergency responders, farmers, and community members reduce farm injuries and property loss.
The program covers emergency preparedness, hazard assessment using SaferFarm.org and Farm MAPPER, first aid, and outreach, aiming to equip local leaders with tools to prevent farm accidents.
Registration is required by November 25.
