Nigerian musician D’banj has launched the Nigerian Youth Positively Driven (NYPD) initiative, unveiled at the UN@80 event in Abuja, to spotlight positive community actions across Nigeria. Supported by Afreximbank’s investment in D’banj’s C.R.E.A.M. Platform, the program invites citizens to submit stories and videos via an online portal. Featured individuals may win a ₦1 million grant, while submitters receive ₦250,000 weekly. Selected entries are passed to the Creative Alliance for Peace for development, focusing on renewable energy and sustainability. The initiative aims to shift public focus toward constructive change and empower youth through recognition and resources.
