Malabar 2025, a U.S.-led naval drill with allies, boosted Indo-Pacific security through joint warfare training.

Exercise Malabar 2025, held November 10–18 around Guam, brought together naval forces from the U.S., Australia, India, and Japan for the sixth time as a quadrilateral exercise. Focused on advanced warfare tactics, interoperability, and information sharing, the drill involved ships including the USS Fitzgerald, HMAS Ballarat, INS Sahyadri, and JS Hyuga, along with aircraft and specialized units. The U.S. Navy led the exercise under 7th Fleet command, continuing a rotating leadership and location model to strengthen regional security and coordination across the Indo-Pacific.
