The ED stresses it does not conduct online arrests and urges vigilance.
The initiative is part of broader government efforts, including blocking thousands of scam accounts, blocking spoofed international calls, and running a nationwide awareness campaign with support from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.
