Irish opposition leaders, including Labour’s Ivana Bacik, have sharply criticized the government’s new housing plan, calling it unoriginal and lacking ambition, with Bacik accusing the government of abandoning annual homebuilding targets and failing to advance affordable housing or clarify the Land Development Agency’s powers.
