India has expanded its Visa-on-Arrival program for UAE nationals to three new airports—Cochin, Calicut, and Ahmedabad—bringing total entry points to nine.
The program, available to UAE passport holders who previously held an Indian e-visa or paper visa, allows stays of up to 60 days for tourism, business, conferences, or medical reasons with double entry.
Travelers must have a passport valid for at least six months and may need to show proof of funds, accommodation, and return travel.
A fee of ₹2,000 per person applies, with no annual limit.
Those with ancestral ties to Pakistan are excluded and must apply through Indian diplomatic missions.
The move aims to boost travel and strengthen bilateral ties.
