HBCU Awarefest, a major fundraising concert set for March 26, 2026, at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, will feature headliners GloRilla, Metro Boomin, John Legend, Jill Scott, and Earth, Wind & Fire, along with Common, Coco Jones, Jeezy, and others.
Organized by Live Nation Urban and the Student Freedom Initiative with support from the City of Atlanta and Mayor Andre Dickens, the event aims to address student loan debt among HBCU students by raising funds for the Student Freedom Loan Agreement—a low-cost, income-contingent alternative to Parent PLUS Loans.
The festival will include speeches from public figures like Chris Paul, Angel Reese, and Robert F. Smith, as well as workshops on HBCU impact and racial wealth equity.
