Anthony Williams, 32, of Peterborough, remains in custody after facing seven new charges linked to violent incidents on October 31 and November 1, including two attempted murders, affray, theft of knives from an Asda store, and possession of a bladed weapon.
The charges stem from attacks in Peterborough and on trains in London and Cambridgeshire, including a mass stabbing on an LNER train that injured 11 people.
He is also accused of an attempted murder on a DLR train.
Williams, who did not appear in court, was not granted bail and is set to face 11 counts of attempted murder and other charges at Cambridge Crown Court on December 17.
Police confirm no evidence links the attacks to terrorism.
