A 92-year-old woman from Cheshire has been charged with causing serious injury by careless driving after a February 25 collision in which a 58-year-old man from Wirral suffered life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred on Hollybank near Runcorn Road when the man was struck by a silver Toyota Yaris driven by Helen Morris, who was arrested and released under investigation.
Nearly nine months later, Morris faces charges for failing to drive with due care, and is set to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court.
