Xinjiang launches a research center to boost China-Central Asia agricultural cooperation and poverty reduction.
On November 8, Xinjiang Agricultural University launched the Central Asia Research Center at the Jeminay Agricultural Pilot Zone, aiming to boost agricultural technology cooperation and development between China and Central Asia.
Co-built with the China-Central Asia Poverty Reduction Cooperation Center, the center leverages Xinjiang’s research capabilities and Jeminay’s border location to advance farming and herding innovation, talent exchange, and technology transfer.
It supports sustainable agriculture, regional collaboration, and efforts to establish a replicable “Jeminay model” for poverty reduction.
