The Welsh Government has launched the Digital Inclusion Wales Grant to help residents build digital skills and overcome technology barriers. Two funding streams are available: a Core Grant of up to £43,500 annually for three-year community projects, with £390,000 per year, and an Innovation Grant of up to £15,000 for short-term pilot initiatives, with £60,000 available. Open to community groups, social enterprises, faith organizations, and public or private bodies, the program aims to boost digital confidence as essential services move online. Applications began November 17, 2025, and close February 9, 2026. Cabinet Secretary Jane Hutt emphasized the importance of ensuring everyone can participate in the digital world.
