Six Flags Over Texas unveils Tormenta Rampaging Run, a record-breaking 2026 roller coaster themed to Spain’s running of the bulls.
Six Flags Over Texas has revealed its new 2026 roller coaster, Tormenta Rampaging Run, set to open during the park’s 65th-anniversary celebration. The dive coaster will stand 309 feet tall, reach 87 mph, and feature a 285-foot, 95-degree drop across 4,199 feet of track, carrying 24 riders in eight-person cars. It will be the tallest, fastest, and longest of its kind, with multiple world records. Themed after Spain’s running of the bulls, it will anchor a new area called Rancho de la Tormenta, including a new restaurant, Cocina Abuela. The project, part of a $1 billion expansion, marks the park’s largest single investment and signals a major revitalization. Construction is underway by H3 Construction, with design by Bolliger & Mabillard.
