A 276-meter-long, 200-kilogram petition with 90,000 signatures was delivered to New Zealand Parliament by Patient Voice Aotearoa, demanding urgent action to address systemic failures in the health system, particularly affecting Māori, rural, and low-income communities.
Organized as a national movement, it calls for increased funding, workforce recruitment, and fulfillment of Treaty of Waitangi obligations.
