Myer's 2025 Christmas display, a Lego-themed exhibit celebrating its 70th anniversary, opened Nov. 8 in Melbourne.
Melbourne’s Myer department store has launched its 2025 Christmas display, a Lego-themed exhibit featuring over 488,000 bricks, marking the store’s 70th anniversary of holiday windows.
Developed over a year by Stage One Productions and Lego professional Ryan McNaught, the six-window display tells the story of a letter to Santa traveling from Melbourne’s post office to the North Pole Workshop, narrated by Hamish Blake.
It highlights Australian Christmas traditions, including the Boxing Day Test at the MCG and Carols by Candlelight at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The display opened November 8, 2025, and runs through January 11, 2026, at the Bourke Street Mall location, with nightly Christmas lights shows continuing through Christmas Day.
It follows last year’s criticized display, aiming for a more family-friendly approach.
