India's telecom operators posted steady Q2FY26 results, led by rising average revenue per user (ARPU) fueled by higher data usage, smartphone adoption, and premium plan shifts.
Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea all saw ARPU gains, with Airtel at Rs256, Jio at Rs211.4, and Vi at Rs167.
Jio added 8.3 million subscribers, reaching 506.4 million, while Airtel gained 1.4 million.
Vi lost about one million users.
Jio’s 5G users hit 234 million, and FWA broadband grew rapidly, with Jio adding over a million users monthly and Airtel adding 0.95 million.
