HCLFoundation and India's Paralympic Committee gave sports gear and scholarships to para-athletes to boost India’s para-sports development.
HCLFoundation, in partnership with India’s Paralympic Committee, has expanded its 'Sports for Change' initiative, providing Rs 37 lakh in sports equipment to 14 elite para-athletes and scholarships ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for six emerging athletes.
The effort, aimed at strengthening India’s para-sports ecosystem, supports international competition readiness and promotes inclusion for talent from underserved communities.
Since its launch, the program has reached over 64,000 athletes, enabled 25 to represent India internationally, and invested nearly Rs 80 crore.
