Anant Raj Cloud to invest $540 million in Andhra Pradesh’s data centers, creating 16,000 jobs.
Anant Raj Cloud, a subsidiary of Anant Raj Limited, has signed an MoU with Andhra Pradesh’s government to invest Rs 4,500 crore in data center and IT park development, creating about 8,500 direct and 7,500 indirect jobs.
The project, in two phases, aims to strengthen the state’s digital infrastructure with government support for timely execution.
It builds on the company’s existing 307 MW data center capacity across three locations, with plans to reach 307 MW by 2031-32 under a $2.1 billion capital plan and 117 MW of installed IT load by 2027-28.
The company, founded in 1969, reported Rs 1,223.20 crore in revenue and Rs 264.08 crore in profit for the first half of 2025-26.
In June 2024, it partnered with Orange Business to expand managed cloud services in India.
