A Udaipur doctor accuses filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and others of a ₹30 crore film investment fraud, which Bhatt denies.
A Udaipur doctor has filed an FIR against filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, his wife, daughter, and six others, alleging a ₹30 crore fraud related to film investments.
The complaint claims the doctor was promised ₹200 crore in returns for funding four films and documentaries, including a biopic on his late wife, but only two films were completed without proper credit, and the highest-budget project was never started.
Bhatt denies the allegations, saying he received no official notice, questions the complainant’s industry experience, and claims financial disputes and the complainant’s stalled IPO plans caused production issues.
He asserts he has evidence showing the complainant failed to pay crew members and maintains he has never faced such allegations.
The investigation is ongoing.
