Tyler man arrested for vandalizing Veterans Day display and church, causing $2K+ in damage.

Timothy Myers Poole of Tyler, Texas, was arrested on Thursday after allegedly vandalizing a Veterans Day flag display at the Rotary Club of Tyler’s “Field of Valor,” tearing down flags and bending poles, causing over $2,000 in damage. Authorities say he left his driver’s license at the scene. Police also reported he damaged Lakewood Church in Flint by throwing a concrete object through its front door. Poole was taken into custody during a separate traffic stop after showing aggressive behavior and refusing to comply with officers. He faces criminal mischief charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
