The Salvation Army has launched its 2025 Angel Tree program across multiple U.S. cities, including Aiken, Lubbock, Pascagoula, San Angelo, and Midland/Odessa, to provide holiday gifts for thousands of children and seniors in need.
Programs in these communities are expanding, with Aiken serving nearly 4,000 individuals—nearly 1,000 more than last year—while Lubbock, Pascagoula, and San Angelo each support hundreds of children.
Donors can adopt gift tags from Angel Trees at local businesses or participate online through Walmart’s “Registry for Good” or virtual platforms.
Gifts must be returned by December 12 to 16, depending on location, with distribution occurring between December 14 and 19.
The initiative, now in its 33rd to 46th year in various locations, aims to bring joy and dignity to families facing financial hardship, supported by community generosity and matching donations.
