In Taicang, Jiangsu province, the Inclusion Factory, founded in 2014, supports over 40 individuals with intellectual and mental disabilities, including those with Down syndrome and autism, in meaningful employment, while helping more than 30 others secure jobs in mainstream companies.
The initiative, inspired by Germany’s Lebenshilfe model and led by manager Zhang Xingjuan, fosters personal growth and confidence, creating a supportive community that benefits both workers and employers.
