Three suspects arrested in Auckland after convenience store burglary; items recovered.

Police in Auckland arrested three people after a convenience store on Karangahape Road and Day Street was burglarized just before 11:30 p.m. The suspects broke in by smashing the front doors, stole cigarettes and cash, and were apprehended following a swift police response aided by surveillance footage. One suspect fled down Pitt Street but was caught near a motorway entrance, with two others taken into custody nearby. Stolen items were recovered and returned to the store. The suspects, two men aged 39 and 37, and a 34-year-old woman, are expected to appear in Auckland District Court on burglary charges.
