Tamrose Limited repaid a $10M Nigerian loan, expanded to 15 vessels, and boosted local jobs and training.
Tamrose Limited, a Nigerian marine logistics firm, has successfully expanded its fleet from four to 15 patrol vessels and entered markets in Angola and other African countries, fully repaying a $10 million loan from Nigeria’s Nigerian Content Intervention Fund (NCIF) by September 2025.
The company, praised by the federal government and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, created nearly 250 direct jobs, supported over 600 indirect livelihoods, and trained more than 100 cadets to international standards.
The achievement highlights the NCIF’s role in boosting local capacity and advancing Nigeria’s goal of 70% local content in the oil and gas sector by 2027.
The government plans to launch a new Nigerian Content Equity Fund in December 2025 to provide long-term capital for high-impact Nigerian enterprises.
