The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) begins its 2025-26 season on November 21 with the Toronto Sceptres playing their first game in Minnesota, followed by their home opener on November 29 at Coca-Cola Coliseum.
The league expands to eight teams with the addition of Seattle and Vancouver.
New rules include allowing three goalkeepers on contract, with the third permitted on the bench if needed, and eliminating coach’s challenges for video reviews.
