MG Motor Australia discounts its MG 4 Excite 51 EV to $37,990, ending sales by Dec. 31, 2025, ahead of a new model launch.

MG Motor Australia is offering a $37,990 drive-away price for its MG 4 Excite 51 EV, part of a runout deal before introducing a new MG 4 Urban model. Discounts range from $365 to $2,526, and all units sold by December 31, 2025, include a 12-month/1,000kWh Evie charging voucher. Sales dropped 47.6% year-on-year by October 2025, following a 97.9% surge in late 2024 when lower prices and factory incentives were available. Next year, MG will launch a front-wheel-drive MG 4 Urban with smaller batteries and simpler suspension, alongside a revised rear-wheel-drive model with a 64kWh battery and updated features.
