India's military response to terrorism, Operation Sindoor, lasted 88 hours and signaled stronger future actions if Pakistan supports terrorism.
Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said Operation Sindoor, a recent military response to a terrorist attack, was a brief but decisive demonstration of India’s readiness, calling it an "88-hour trailer" of what could come if Pakistan continues supporting terrorism.
Speaking at the Chanakya Defence Dialogues in New Delhi, he emphasized integrated military operations, rapid decision-making, and sustained logistics, warning that future actions would be more severe.
He cited improved security in Jammu and Kashmir since Article 370’s abrogation and reaffirmed India’s stance that peace and terrorism cannot coexist.
The main dialogues are set for November 27–28.
