Air India will resume non-stop flights between Delhi and Shanghai starting February 1, 2026, ending nearly six years of suspended service. The route, operating four times weekly on a Boeing 787-8 with 18 business and 238 economy seats, marks a key revival following improved India-China diplomatic ties. A Mumbai-Shanghai route is planned for later in 2026, pending approval.
