Aaron Michael Lord, 38, has been found not criminally responsible for the May 12, 2024, death of 68-year-old Raymond McCormack, whose body was found in a Wollongong railway station car park stairwell.
Charged the next day and pleading not guilty in August 2025, Lord was deemed not criminally responsible due to mental impairment by Justice Deborah Sweeney in a special Supreme Court hearing.
He remains in custody pending a Mental Health Review Tribunal decision.
