Shah Rukh Khan has become the first celebrity to have a commercial skyscraper named after him, with Dubai’s Danube Properties launching the 55-storey 'Shahrukhz by Danube' tower on Sheikh Zayed Road. The project, unveiled in Mumbai on November 14, 2025, honors Khan’s global influence and enduring connection to Dubai, which he calls a city of dreams. Khan expressed deep emotion over the tribute, calling it humbling and linking it to his journey from modest beginnings to international stardom. The tower, part of a larger development, will feature luxury amenities, a helipad, air taxi station, and a statue of Khan in his iconic pose. Plans include expanding the brand to major global cities. The launch coincides with Khan’s 60th birthday celebrations and highlights growing cultural and economic ties between India and the UAE.
