Pilots at Amazon’s largest cargo airline vote to strike after contract talks collapse over pay and benefits.
After over five years of stalled talks, pilots at Air Transport International, the largest Amazon Air cargo carrier, are preparing to strike after their parent company and financial partner rejected key parts of a tentative contract deal in August 2025.

The current contract, unchanged since 2019, has led to a pilot turnover exceeding a third by October 2023.
The union claims the rejection undermines vital pay and retirement improvements and threatens service reliability.
