LNER worker Samir Zitouni, injured in a stabbing on a train near Huntingdon, has been discharged after recovering.

Samir Zitouni, a 48-year-old LNER customer experience host, has been discharged from the hospital after recovering from critical injuries sustained during a stabbing attack on an LNER train near Huntingdon on November 1, 2025. The incident, which occurred on a train from Doncaster to London, left 11 people injured, with Zitouni praised for shielding passengers and helping prevent further harm. He was treated at an NHS facility and is now recovering at home. The suspect, Anthony Williams, 32, was remanded into custody on 10 counts of attempted murder and is set to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on December 1. Authorities continue to investigate the attack.
