Irish venture capital funding rose 8% in Q3 2025 to €207.9 million, recovering from a low in Q2 tied to U.S. tariff concerns, with overseas investment more than doubling to €146.7 million. Growth was driven by larger deals in the €1–€5 million range, including major rounds for ProVerum and AI firm Nory, while early-stage funding remained weak. Despite a 10% year-to-date decline, the Irish Venture Capital Association expressed cautious optimism, citing progress on a new €250 million government-backed fund expected to boost early-stage investment in 2026.
