Ghana’s presidential jet returns to Accra after 8-month overhaul in France, now operational.
Ghana’s presidential Falcon 900 EX jet has returned to Accra after an eight-month overhaul in France, completing mandatory inspections and repairs.
Sent to Paris Le Bourget in March 2025, the aircraft required extensive work after engineers found serious issues, including fuel tank defects and a turbofan engine failure.
Delays stemmed from difficulties sourcing OEM-certified parts.
After repairs, leak tests, engine runs, and acceptance flights, the jet was cleared for service and flew from Marseille before landing in Ghana on November 10, 2025.
It is now back in operational use with the Ghana Air Force.
