Air China Cargo orders six Airbus A350F freighters, marking a milestone for both the airline and Airbus.
Air China Cargo has become the first mainland Chinese airline to order the Airbus A350F freighter, signing a deal for six aircraft.
The carrier, China’s sole flag-carrying cargo airline, will use the planes to expand its domestic and international freight operations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The A350F offers up to 111 tons of payload, a range of 8,700 km, and a 40% reduction in fuel use and CO2 emissions compared to older models, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.
The order marks a milestone for Airbus, which as of October 2025 had 1,445 A350 family orders globally, including 74 for the A350F.
