Air China Cargo has become the first mainland Chinese airline to order the Airbus A350F freighter, signing a deal for six aircraft.
The cargo carrier, China’s sole flag-carrying airline, operates across China and international routes in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The A350F offers up to 111 tons of cargo capacity, a range of 8,700 km, and 40% lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions than older models, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.
The order supports improved efficiency and long-term stability.
As of October 2025, the A350 family had 1,445 global orders, including 74 for the A350F from 12 customers.
