Air China Cargo becomes first mainland Chinese airline to order six Airbus A350F freighters.
Air China Cargo has become the first mainland Chinese airline to order the Airbus A350F freighter, signing a deal for six aircraft.
The carrier, China’s sole flag-carrying cargo airline, operates across domestic regions and international routes in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The A350F offers a range of 8,700 km, up to 111 tons of cargo capacity, and 40% lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions than older models, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines.
The order supports growing demand in express, general, and special cargo segments.
As of October 2025, Airbus had 1,445 A350 family orders globally, including 74 for the A350F from 12 customers.
