Three men—Michael Landry, Donovan Lemstra, and Michael Alfred McCallum—have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 30-year-old Timothy Tootoosis, whose body was found December 18, 2024, during a search warrant in Saskatoon. All face additional charges including unlawful confinement and offering an indignity to human remains. The suspects, arrested between November 6 and 13, are in custody and scheduled for upcoming court appearances. Tootoosis, a former soccer player and Indigenous advocate, was reportedly dismembered after death. His killing was the final homicide in Saskatoon in 2024.
